Hi there. If you found this site, you’re probably in pain.
Maybe it’s a dull ache in your wrist after a 10-hour Excel marathon. Maybe it’s a sharp shooting pain in your shoulder when you reach for your mouse. Or maybe you’re just proactive and want to avoid the dreaded “Carpal Tunnel” surgery down the road.
We get it. Because we’ve been there.
ErgoInsider wasn’t started by doctors or physical therapists. It was started by Data Analysts and Coders who learned the hard way that standard office equipment is dangerous.
Back in 2024, our founder was managing a massive data migration project. After weeks of 12-hour days—clicking, dragging, pivoting, and coding—his right hand simply gave up. The diagnosis? Severe Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).
He did what everyone does: he went to Amazon and bought the first “Ergonomic Mouse” he saw. It was terrible. Then he bought a $300 chair. It didn’t fit. He wasted over $1,000 on gear that promised relief but only delivered frustration.
That’s when ErgoInsider was born.
We are a small team of tech professionals, writers, and heavy computer users. We don’t just write about this gear; we rely on it to do our jobs every day.
We believe that ergonomics is not a luxury—it’s a productivity requirement. You can’t write good code or analyze data if your hand hurts every time you touch the mouse.
We believe in 100% transparency. ErgoInsider is reader-supported.
This means that when you click a link on our site and buy something (like a vertical mouse or a standing desk), we may earn a small affiliate commission from the retailer (like Amazon).
This comes at NO extra cost to you.
Does this affect our reviews? Never. We only recommend products that we have researched, tested, or would recommend to our own colleagues. In fact, if we recommend a bad product and you return it, we make nothing. This aligns our interests with yours: we only win when you find the right gear.
